Best WLM Reviews
My husband and I stopped here for lunch after calling a bunch of restaurants in the area asking if they had Chicken Pho (Pho Ga) prepared with chicken bone broth instead of beef bone broth. I have dietary restrictions and I cannot eat beef product. I was so so so happy that this owner makes Pho properly and sensibly. If we lived in Jacksonville, we would eat here regularly. My Pho was DELICIOUS AND SO SAVORY. I wish I could have a bowl right now as I am typing this review. It was the best Pho I have ever had outside of my town. My husband enjoyed his plate too. I hope this business sees lots of good fortune.
Inside has decent space.
Floors and especially restroom are filthy.
Waiter was friendly and nice.
Spring roll was ok.
Peanut sauce is way watered down not traditional thick sauce very disappointing.
Ordered short ribs, they were unflavored and super tough to eat I was afraid to break a tooth literally felt like meat was imported from Mexico (yes I have had Mexico meat)
Quality is poor
Will not be returning.
I ordered Banh Xeo at first. The food were amazing that made me order another order of Pho Dac Biet. It was so gooooood! The soup was clear as crystal and the taste were up the roof. It wasn't too oily nor too dense, just right ????. It made me so happy ????.
Service was friendly and quick. Simple decor with peaceful ambiance music. Simply yummy homemade Vietnamese food. I give 3/5 for the food though because, while it was authentic, I prefer pho broth a little more savory than how this restaurant prepares it. The fresh spring rolls and peanut sauce were good value. The man was very friendly also. We went for a late lunch and it was not busy, so we were sat immediately.
Pho here is always delicious! Love the broth it is always so savory. Great little restaurant, thank you
My friend and I were in town for business and decided to try this place out and glad we did. I am into the hole in the wall places and this fit the bill, it is in a little strip mall with basic decorations and no frills atmosphere. The waiter wasn't and overly friendly gent but he answered all of our questions and even showed a little sense of humor when my appetizer came out. I got the crepe as an appetizer and when it came out I was shocked how big it was. The flavors all matched so well and the fresh Thai basil that came with added such a fresh touch. For my main course I ordered the Grilled beef spare ribs. the marinade wasn't overly strong but the grill char added that little extra that made the flavors pop. My friend got the Charbroiled pork shoulder and he really enjoyed that as well. I thought the prices were less than other Asian places that I have been to. We will definitely be back.
Traveled to Jacksonville, and having been to Asia, LA, NYC, we were pleasantly surprised to have legit Asian authentic and amazing broth pho. Phenomenal food - so glad we chose this one over the others. You wont be disappointed and the owners are super friendly and original.
Summary: it's good, but nothing to special.
First time visiting, I got the beef spare ribs. Seasoning was good. About what you'd expect from a marinade. Cooked over flame. Kinda expensive for the amount. Wife got beef pho. She said it was normal too. As others said before, the guy waiter didn't seem friendly, but it's fine.
If there was something here, like , they made their own bone broth in house . It's not advertised anywhere.
