A lady named Jennifer dyed my hair. I showed her a picture at my consultation and she told me “those are babylights” and who am I to argue with the professional? I came back for my dye job and 1.) there was some really bad foil slippage, 2.) the transition color she used was warm toned and my hair is cool toned, 3.) it was really chunky, BRASSY, and not even close to what I asked for. To be fair, the power did go out and she was really sweet to talk to, but don’t make the mistake of going here. Other salons are worth the extra charge. This picture was taken immediately after my appointment.
Jennifer and Theresa are amazing. They have been doing my family's hair for years. A BETTER PLACE is the only place we will go.
This is the 2nd time I have tried to take my Daughter to get a haircut at A Better Place. This time , we walked into the salon at 6:10pm and was told, " Ummm sorry , were closed " it's clearly stated on the website they are open until 7pm. While they had people inside getting services. And the last time we came, we walked in and waited to speak to someone but no one even asked us how they could help, we just got up and walked out after about 10 minutes. I used to LOVE going to this place but it seems like if Teresa isn't there I never get help. Just so disappointed again!
I walked in and was fit in almost immediately. (I went during a slow period.) A friendly fantastic lady named Chris cut my hair quickly and professionally. I didn't want anything else done and she didn't try to talk me into anything I didn't want!
Wendy did such an amazing job with mine and my sister in laws hair. She was so friendly and welcoming and made me feel like I was a regular who had been going there for years. I dont know why I ever went anywhere else.
She was and is wonderful! She even opened up early for me since I worked 3 rd shift. Will go again, and again etc.. felt very welcomed! ????. Very happy and pleased with cut ✂️????.
I asked for my hair to not be cut straight across at my ear and that I wanted my hair to be cut short and have pointed, spike typed strands. I had a picture on my phone that could be referred to and plenty of hair to work with. I was not offered a mirror to view my hair after the woman was done.I came out with a man haircut and my hair was cut straight at my ears. I looked at my hair when I got into my car and I had several long hairs around the bottom of my hairline. First red flag...the place was not busy and other salons I stopped in had an hour or two wait. Second red flag...I told the stylist my hair had to be razor cut and thinned. I know my own hair. She told me she used scissors first then went over it with a razor. Thankfully my hair grows fast. I will NOT be returning.
I decided to give it a try for a quick tan and a trim, though the lady was really nice and welcoming, the place wreaked of cigarette smoke...I tanned first and decided not to stay for a trim because I didn’t want to smell the rest of the day. Seemed like a decent place, but the smoke was just too strong for me.
