I truly appreciate this business. I paid Aamco of Redlands, CA to rebuild my transmission and clutch. They robbed me and sold me a remanufactured transmission and a performance clutch. 8 months later my (OEM) clutch failed at 100,500 miles. I saved some money and started looking for someone to repair my clutch. Most shops had a waiting list, but I found A&B on Google. Jeff took my car in and fixed the problem within a week. They showed me my old clutch and explained why it failed and got me back on the road again. Within 2 hours of me leaving my check engine light came on. I have a code reader and I got a P0420 code (Catalytic Converter failure). I called and Jeff explained that my CAT needed to be replaced and that I had a little time. I attribute the failure to the 10 year, 100,000 mile lifespan of the part. I saved up more money and my car started acting funny while I was driving it. So, I called and JD ordered my part. We scheduled a Friday to get the work done, and on the day I went in and left my car at 6:00 AM. It was done by 1:30PM. I swung by between jobs and picked it up, and now all my dash lights are off and my car is running really nicely! Not only did this shop do quality work, but they did it really quickly and had me back on the road again in NO TIME, flat! JD took the time to explain how my parts work in my car and he is a genuinely good person, while Jeff fixed my car up and he obviously has a wealth of experience and knowledge to draw upon. I trust him with my car more than I trust MYSELF, which is remarkable considering what AAMCO just did to me last year... it makes me trust mechanics (and humanity by proxy) just a little bit more ????. In short, I HIGHLY recommend this shop for all their services. I'll be a lifelong customer, and I believe that they will DO THE RIGHT THING for anyone that uses their business. I believe that the standard operating procedure with this business is honesty, integrity, quality, reliability, and punctuality. THAT'S why I recommend them over anyone else, and that's why I wrote this review. Just don't get funny when it comes to the money part, because they're businessmen and VERY professional... like the mafia ????! 5 STARS!

Been bringing my vehicles to A&B for years and have been very pleased with the service I've gotten. However, I brought my VW Eurovan in for service for the 1st time since the shop changed owners. It didn't go well. It seems the tech didn't correctly lift the vehicle. There was significant damage to the underside of the van in two places. I notified A&B via their website and received no response. I am very disappointed to say the least.

These guys are great! My transmission went out on my way home on a Thursday. I called A&B and they scheduled a tow from my house while I was at work on Friday. They were able to add the tow cost, wich was very low, to my overall bill so I had no up front out of pocket costs. They had my van back to me on the following Tuesday! Super fast top notch service. They even came to pick me up so I didn't have to find a ride over to the shop. They had the best price in town and the customer service was above and beyond. These guys have a customer for life. The van runs and shifts better that it ever has thanks to A&B. I would highly recommend A&B for any of your automotive repair needs.

AAA towed me here after my car suddenly stalled out. Jeff, JD, and all mechanics were fast and knowledgeable. They really went above and beyond with helping me after i had a stressful and scary incident. Cannot thank them enough, highly recommend this place.

I've been working with Dan since I started my mobile grooming business, he's the only one I'd trust to work on my bus. He does an excellent job and has two fantastic dogs. ????

Awful experience....beware of Chris... He did a terrible job with the diagnosis on my vehicle.... kept changing his story on what was wrong with my car.. I got a separate diagnosis from the dealer and Chris was all wrong... He tried to charge me for a part I didn't need that was more than the dealer would have charged.. Refused to honor a coupon I had.. My car ran when I drove it to them..it had a transmission problem.. I had to have it towed out of there due to new engine problems that weren't occurring until they messed with it. On top of that he was very rude and arrogant. Do not recommend this place at all....

When I needed a reliable mechanic, I found AB Auto Transmission Repair in San Bernardino. I spoke to Dan as a result of being referred by a friend and sure enough, Dan was able to schedule my work van in for service. After a diagnostic of my van, it was determined that my work van simply needed factory recommended maintenance and regular topping off of my oil as a result of putting so many miles on my van. I am glad to have found Dan and his mechanics. I will make sure to continue to take my car in for regular service and topping off of my oil. Thanks so much Dan.
