Ordered a bathroom vanity from Wayfair. I got a message a week ago saying that it was going to be delivered today 11/14 between 9-1pm. 2 minutes before 9am I get a message saying they rescheduled it for tomorrow. I was very upset because I had to take time off work to be home. After trying Wayfair help hotline they transferred me to the transport company line but I didn’t know it went straight to voicemail. So I hung up. I googled the company Wayfair gave me and found the number. It matched the text messages I have been receiving for scheduling updates. I tried to call and got a message immediately saying to leave a message and so I did. Explaining my situation and hope to hear back. But I really wanted to talk to a live person. I tried again and it immediately said that this person doesn’t have a mailbox set up. I tried again and same result. Meaning they blocked my number. I was furious. Called Wayfair back and they were able to reach a live person and explained the situation and he said that he will have it done today for me especially after I said that the delivery was going in the garage and not in my home. Once he heard that he was happy. Because they had a person out for weeks due to a knee injury and I didn’t know that until the delivery guy told me. If they would have been straight forward of course I would have understood and tried to work something else out. Thankfully my delivery just needed one person and was going in the garage or otherwise I would have been SOL. I hope that another transport company in my area picks up Wayfair’s contracts because I could have been waiting months to get my stuff that I needed for my remodel. Just my opinion. I will make a comment and suggestion to Wayfair as well.
Quick unloading but really uncomfortable dock to back up not a lot of room to work with can't really park on a street
Was to receive a brand new reclining living room couch & loveseat from Wayfair. Pick up of old and delivery of new scheduled on a holiday wknd. Sat. Pick up occurred, but the delivery of the new was not in the truck. Numerous texts w/ company and basically our furniture was held hostage until A&B Rapid Trucking decided when they would deliver. Zero customer service & lousy communication with the trucking representative!
We have one seating room, so we had no furniture to sit on on for the next 6 days. It was a rather uncomfortable situation for two senior citizens with arthritic back issues. Absolutely rude lack of service from the home office!!
Made a purchase from Wayfair.. good luck getting A & B Rapid truck to deliver for Wayfair. Since the day I purchased my item I have heard nothing from the freight company. No idea when or if it'll be delivered. The freight company has an answer machine for your call back...but they don't. Ok
Ordered a bathroom vanity from Wayfair. I gave them 1 star as the text with time estimate was good both times.
However, 1st time, when the box was brought in, I was told "If it's broken you need to contact Wayfair." Well that's not a good sign! Opening the box, I found the stone top cracked in 4 places. Wayfair support sent another. Same delivery company.
The 2nd time, they rolled it on its side, though the box said "team lift." It had not only the top cracked in 2 places, and the corner chipped but the sink had a big hole with many cracks as well. The large piece rattled around inside as it was tilted up the step and damaged the inside of the vanity in several places. No telling how many times it may have been rolled...
First, you don't roll a box that says "handle with care!!!" Second, you don't roll a box that has a VANITY in it at all!! It was a large, heavy box, and should be "handled with care". Not tilted up on a hand truck. That's not good! Please more professionalism.
I had a delivery for Wayfair, and they didn't take the time to carry the item correctly and broke the pallet, then refused to even set it down on the rug so it wasn't set directly on the newly refinished hardwood floors, and instead set it *touching* the rug, right next to it. I still need to check the item for damage, as it's clear from how they delivered it and from other reviews that they don't really care about damaging items.
Left my $6,500 all leather sofa by the dumpsters, 1/2 mile from my home. No phone call. They could have walked 20 feet to the office to get directions. And the plastic was ripped at the top with 100% chance of rain. Left by the darn trash! Very angry!!!
They almost got a 5. Delivery window was 11-4, and Wayfair said they would call a half hour ahead. Well, they called right at 4, delivery 15 minutes after that. Tolerable. I've experienced much worse.
