It was a pleasant experience and I was very impressed with my hair. My hair was done by stylist Fatou. She was very very gentle because I told her I had a tender scalp. She was very attentive and provided great customer service . Overall nice atmosphere . It is not a spa for people who adore silence. But the ladies were warm , kind and friendly . Prices were very fair and most of all I Loved my hair!!!! Not sure why some people give bad reviews and I was cynical at first, but those ladies are welcoming and I will most definitely go back again!! Hope they keep up the amazing work
They are extremely rude I have gone often and never will again. They are constantly arguing with people and don’t know how to address people respectfully. It’s only a matter of time before they are disrespectful to you.

Came to AAA African braiding on Mother's Day Sunday May 14, 2023. I got sengelese twists . Upon completion of my hair I tipped the lady that was finishing up the back of my hair. I left and once I made it home my hair was unraveling on some of the braids. This shocked me due to the fact that it hadn't even been 24 hours. Monday May 15, 2023 I returned to the shop by 38th and Lafayette rd located right next to Don's guns. Only one of the woman who done my hair was available. She asked what happened and I told her that my hair was coming down I needed a braid fixed. I waited 25 mins until they got done with a customer, but there were multiple workers there. Well the next day I look in the mirror and see another couple of braids coming down. I was frustrated by then. I called and someone told me to come in and get them fixed. Arrived again Wednesday May 17,2023 the woman who had screwed my hair up was there. I waited about 20 mins once again to get my hair fixed from them messing it up.she began to ask me which ones were messed up . I'm not the braider but it was weird how you ask me which ones are messed up; look and see ya self. The issue with all this is alot of people pay hair braiding places and walk out with LOW QUALITY WORK. They were half done . The lady had to go back thru the front half of my braid by braid and fix them. Sad situation. I Do not recommend!!
1st if I am paying 200 to get my hair done, Please do it like I asked. You do not know what is best for everyone! I am very disappointed with my hair and the service was horrible. And when you disagree with a customer( who is paying you) stop talking in your language super loud and fast!! That doesn't mean anything. I'm the one PAYING!!!
THIS IS THE WORST BRAIDING SHOP! If THESE WOMEN LOST ALL THEIR CLIENTELE I PROMISE YOU ID NEVER FEEL BAD! They are rude, inconsiderate and very condescending even to me a fellow African woman. There is no professionalism that can be felt or experienced even from the business owner. God bless them because they are going to need all the luck they can get.
Second time going here and both times they slayed my hair. They are super fast and really nice. They work as a team to get it done but will do what makes the customer happy if they see its becoming a issue. I got Senegalese twist and I couldn't be happier.
I have been going here since 2014 to get my hair braided and let’s just say I don’t let anyone else braid my hair. I travel from Fort Wayne Indiana just to get my hair braided. I love their team work and their braid pattern. They will get you in and out! Thanks ladies ! ❤️
