I love coming here. The food is always consistently good and the service is better! One server that worked here unfortunately passed away, Melissa. She was wonderful and she made a huge impact on her coworkers. When I got here today I saw a beautiful memorial bench by the front door in her name. It should be that business that shows that kind of respect for their employees is top notch. It shows that they really care and it makes me want to come back.
The manager was our waiter, I believe her name was Amanda, she was perfect. They never disappoint at this nines and I had to put a review in to recognize their hard work. Thanks for a great night.
Food was OK at best. Ordered chicken caesar salad and chicken was good but the lettuce was chopped too fine and the dressing had no flavor besides salty. Croutons were good. Wife got a chicken wrap that was massive. A little messy because of the size of it but no complaint. Steamed broccoli was uncooked frozen broccoli still hard and barely warmed up and grilled cheese was not even grilled long enough to melt the cheese. Also can't get cheese and crackers at this location. No high chairs. Just booster seats with no straps. That was fun with an 11 month old and being put at the elevated tables.
The food was great. Everything came out just as we ordered. The things the waiters were using to put in the orders, seamed to be diffult to use. I went there two times and both times the waiter took a little longer to put in our orders. Otherwise it was great.
Had a great experience here at this 99 restaurant. Drinks was perfect, steak was delicious, so was the side orders coleslaw and rice. Definitely will make a return when back in Haverhill, MA
Friendly service at the bar last night, decent beer selection for a chain, the manager checked in to see how we were doing, great overall experience!
I have been to this 99 restaurant in Haverhill many times and I have always had a good experience. I went there tonight and I have to say this was the worst service I have ever had. The waitress seemed annoyed at our presents because we showed up when she had ordered her own food and wouldn't be able to eat it because we were there. Everything went downhill from there. I asked for a kids drink to be brought out with his meal and she brought it with all other drinks and said to put it to the side until his food got there. She brought each meal to the table one at a time with at least five minutes in between each. My meal was the last to come out and when she told me she said "oh, dad's meal is not ready yet but it's his so he can wait." This seemed very disrespectful to me and my kids saw that too. Even with the wait my fries didn't even come with the meal and I had to wait longer for those. I normally don't post about this stuff but this experience really got to me and everything that I said here is just the tip of what was wrong with the service tonight.
I use to go to the 99 in Saugus and always had lousy food & rude service. Since it closed I haven't been to a 99. I tried the 99 in Haverhill and I have to admit it's a great restaurant. Thank you.
