Best WLM Reviews

Terrible service. I don't even blame the waitress. This must be a staffing issue. Only one waitress on for eight tables on Memorial Day. Any holiday a restaurant is open you know it's going to be busy, don't kill your staff because you don't want to waste your labor hours. The waitress barely checked in due to the fact she had a lot of tables but when she did come around she was polite, nice and professional. Our food took forever, they were probably under staffed in the kitchen as well. This review is getting a three star and it's lucky to get that. The only reason it's getting that is because the food was good and what we did see of the waitress she was really nice. It's not her fault for faulty scheduling.
Parking was a nightmare. But, it is Memorial Day. Bathroom was decent, no liter or garbage on the floor. On a normal day there is plenty of tables and booths. They have wheelchair accessibility. They accept credit/debit and cash. Prices are somewhat expensive but it's a high chain restaurant so that's not this locations fault.
We had a party of four and each of us got something different. I got smothered tips with rice and corn. My tips were cooked perfect and the rice and corn were pretty tasty and fresh. My husband got baked haddock with french fries and coleslaw. The people we were with got buffalo macaroni and cheese and broccoli and cheddar soup with a grilled cheese. No complaints on any of the food. They offer unlimited popcorn through out your dinner. That's a neat gesture.
The food was good. The waitress was good. But I would consider adding more staff on holidays.
Overall, 3 stars! <3
I ordered takeout, so it wasn't a surprise that the chicken was dry and cold, I was grateful I didn't have to cook.
What I am upset about was paying 60 dollars for food I didn't order. And then not being able to get ahold of the manager. I know the world is shorthanded. But when you make a mistake you should own up to it.
As you can see from the pictures I clearly ordered teriyaki wings, and got plain cold wings with no sauce. Easy mistake, poor customer service not owning that you messed up. I now know not to try takeout from this resteraunt again.
Our server was great. Very polite. She also had alot of tables and still did good. The food was to be expected for a restaurant. I don't expect iron chef level food when I go out. I ate the burger. No issues. Thanks y'all
Have not been to one of these in years, I was pleasantly pleased. The food and the bar maid was awesome.
Trucking through Maine, we stopped in here. It was cozy and antiquated. Klserver was great. I got the haddock and my dad got steak. He said well done, but it came out medium well. He said it was good either way.
The haddock was thicccc. The bounciest fish I've ever eaten. Really thick 12 inch filet. Cracker breaded. The potatoes were ok. A little dry but still good. And the murder of crows outside was wild. Never seen so many crows. 500+
My wife and I decided to eat at the bar. Coincidentally, it was still Happy Hour. We watched one of the two waitresses talking with customers at the other end of the bar while we waited for at least 10 minutes to place a drink order.
Folks, they may call it Happy Hour but is it really when only the three worst beers are offered at a discount along with their $3.99 margarita, which is always on sale. The only food subject to a discount for Happy Hour is the wings dish. THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT A HAPPY HOUR!!!
Do yourself a favor, don't expect good service or great food at the the bar at 99 Restaurant!
Wonderful visit. Buffalo Mac n cheese was perfect. Mozzarella triangles were huge and delicious. Definitely will be going back.
My wife and I planned to eat at the 99 restaurant in Augusta today. We went to bar because the service as always been great. However, we waited over twenty five minutes to give our order, still not waited on. Decided to move to dining room where perhaps service will be better. Nope another 10 minutes of no show waitress.Decided to go elsewhere after being singled out by a bar cleaning lady on our move to the dining room. Your male hostess didn't even have the decency to apologize after I stated the poor service we recieved. We will never return to the. AUGUSTA restaurant .
