The 99s are a decent chain restaurant. I had the baked haddock while my date had a burger. Food was quick. The fish was absolutely frozen but tasty the same.
Spicy mango Margherita was delicious and surprisingly spicy.
All in all with the proper expectations it's a decent meal.
I don't know why this place is rated as highly as it is. Dreary atmosphere, the menu is typical fast casual and food is incredibly bland but also has strange flavors. The service is fine and friendly but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to come back, no matter how starving I am after dealing with the rmv.
Really good... I recently started a low calorie diet, and they have plenty of low calorie options. I had the sirloin (medium rare) with broccoli and cauliflower rice. The sirloin was tender and cooked just right. Everything tasted fresh and the service was great.
This is our go to regular place for great food at a reasonable price. I really enjoy the Friday seafood specials and the drinks are delicious. We've always enjoyed great service and comfortable seats.
The 99 is usually a solid choice but my experience this time was definitely lacking the typical quality of service. It seemed like 'new' staff, who were very nice, but I asked for a seat near TV & was seated far from my request. Waitress was unable to tell me what beers were on Tap & handed me a craft beer menu instead. French onion soup was good but an overkill of onions. Lettuce wedge salad needed the chill taken out of it so was difficult to eat. I will return but was disappointed at this visit.
Got exactly what I ordered. Med rare steak tips and boneless buffalo wings. Steak was actually cooked correctly. Chicken was cooked correctly and dripping with hot sauce. Please and thank you.
Food was great! But we got the check without being asked if we even wanted dessert.
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE At the end of this review. ...I ordered a 12oz sirloin steak dinner. The rice was good the asparagus was way overcooked but the steak was not good at all it was tough a lot of fat and very tough to chew except for maybe 4 bites. I've gotten a few different meals here and all were good not great but good but this one was not good. Maybe an off night idk. I will go there again. I give all places a fair shot but tonight's meal was definitely not worth the price. Update. The Corporate office of the 99 restaurants reached out to me about my review and Then the manager of this restaurant called me. As I said in my review I give everyone a fair shot everybody has a bad day now and then so I will go back. They gave me a gift card to cover my meal. I will definitely be going back.Very happy they reached out to me. Great customer service. So I finally went back and tried the same meal I reviewed before. I didn't tell them I was coming this time I ate in house. It was great. The New York Sirloin was cooked perfect the asparagus was excellent. Totally happy with my meal now. They redeemed themselves and didn't know I was coming in. Steak was great everything was good. Really enjoyed it. I will go back.
