All around was a great time and experience eating here. Gotta say the tater tots were really really good. Nice and dense but not thick, great potato taste, crispy, perfect.
The balsamic chicken was a very good dish as well. Asparagus was a little thin and slightly overcooked on the grill, but they were still very tasty.
The bartender was great, she kept good conversation with everyone at the bar. Great place, would definitely like to come back if I'm in the area again.
We really liked the 99 when it first opened. However, it has changed & not in a good way. We stopped ordering the steak tips bc every time I'd order med-rare, & we'd get home & they'd be med-well. So we stuck with the fried chicken breast, which we really liked. But that too has changed. The chicken breast is SO thin that I'm convinced they are cutting the breast in half. If they pounded it out it would be thin but a lot bigger, no it's small & real thin! We used to get a nice whole chicken breast that was thick & moist in the middle. Not now, the last several times thin & dry.
If you're going to keep going up on your prices how about keeping the quality of your food the same!
I will give them a shout out for they're fried fish, that was great. Let's hope they don't mess that up.
We went tonight 1/6/24. Our server was very attentive and awesome. Our food was very disappointing. I ordered the salmon. It was very tough and inedible. Chewing on rubber. My son’s kids meal had several hairs woven throughout his oranges and pasta. For an over $100 tab before tip (2 kids meals, 2 entrees, 2 alcoholic beverages) we were very disappointed in not being able to eat the majority of our dinner. We don’t go out much and felt like we threw away $125. 2 stars only because our server was top notch. Otherwise 1 star for food, quality, and price.
Update: Spoke with manager and appreciate the follow up and understanding of the situation.
My 21 year old Autistic son was outside the restaurant waiting for me to pick him up. Apparently either an employee or a customer called the police on my son. He has tics due to his autism and someone told the police he was outside the restaurant and seemed agitated. So the police came to talk to him and discovered he was not agitated but was autistic and waiting for a ride because he doesn’t drive. Fortunately he was able to explain himself clearly to the officer. The officer was also very kind and offered him a ride home. It would have been nice if he was shown the same kindness by the employee or customer that called the police on him.
Great service and food. Sat at the large bar. Plenty of seats to go around. It's a new restaurant and it looks it. Very clean and Shiney. Crystal waited on me and everything was perfect. The draft beer was really cold. Will definitely be back.
This place has a very local feel to a chain restaurant. The food was pretty good. I got the fried cauliflower with Sriracha sauce and the Vermont burger. Both nicely done!
Had a great server.Her name was Sarah. She was attentive to our needs.. Excellent with suggestions.. The food was good.It was served hot just the way I like it.. This girl was on top of her game much appreciated..
We were very disappointed in our meal tonight. My husband got the salmon and it was way over cooked. The corn tasted old. The rice pilaf was crunchy and under cooked. I got the seafood trio. It was burnt on the top and very dry. The baked potatoe was old and I asked for butter and sour creme which there was a up charge on the bill of 1.99. My brother in law ordered the steak and he said it was very tough and dry. The only thing we found satisfactory is the salad.our server was very good. We always loved going to the 99. The food use to be great. I hope you look at these complaints and look into why the food is mediocre and not good. We noticed the portions were very small. We do not complain when we are at a resturant because we are afraid they will do something to our meal if we send it back but we feel that something should be said on a review.
