Sperry's is an amazing repurposed department store I used to work at in the late '70's.
It is now a multi-use facility with heated, reclining, massaging seats in each of its 12 move theaters ranging in size from about 25 to 40 seats each. There is also a full service restaurant and bar that you can dine in, or they will deliver your order directly to your Movie seat! Before or after your "meal and a movie" you can also enjoy the newly opened Arcade in the lower level of the building. Sperry's has truly become a full service entertainment venue you won't want to miss.
Stop by and grab a bite to eat! There's something on the menu for every palate. I started with a bloody Mary which was delicious as well as the pickle, celery, and olives. I chose the Asian brussel sprouts for lunch. The sauce with the bacon and sesame seeds was perfect. Don't forget to spoil yourself with dessert. The creme brulee will be making you ask for more. It was the perfect way to end a nice meal and not over indulge. The staff are friendly and the kitchen is prompt. Don't miss this gem in downtown Port Huron and catch a movie if you can.
This place needs to be higher rated. The place is very clean and modern. Staff is nice. Live music weekly. The food is great and you can even order it from the theater.
Went in yesterday for a date and walked out because no waitstaff or bartender was there?? A chalk sign said to "sit & scan" to place an order and wait for it to be delivered. Who would we even talk to to get drinks or if anything was wrong with our order? Plenty of young folks working in the movie lobby with free time to openly sit on their phones, but they don't want to pay a single waitstaff to care for that huge empty, silent dining room? Zero ambiance, no music playing, no human element whatsoever. Four stars for food simply because they do have more than one veggie option. We wanted to enjoy the nice view and nostalgia from our first dates here four years ago, but walked out anyway. Went to zebra bar for the veggie burgers we wanted, was a way better atmosphere for a date, and that's a bowling alley bar. Will be checking back to see if they bring in waitstaff, but won't be sitting to eat until they get this fixed. The online ordering is fine as an option to streamline the movie experience or to-go orders, but it's ruining the 2nd floor as a restaurant.
GREAT as always! Pastries are a total knockout! Soup and sandwiches are waaaaay too big to to be consumed in one sitting. Ambiance is is spot on for a really nice sandwich shop. Prices are a wee bit high. However, considering that you get more than "1" meal, I guess it balances out. The place is clean and well maintained, including the rest rooms. Comfortable chairs and tables are readily available. I'd recommend the "eatery" to anyone.
Every time I come here the menu is completely different. There are more vegan options now than last time, which I appreciate. The kitchen was backed up and our waitress let us know that on the front end. Food was mediocre at best. Long wait, but we were given 5 free movie tickets for our table of 5. Our waitress did the best she could given the kitchen issues. Probably won’t be back for a long time.
Great food - loved the Detroit chicken sandwich. Our server was great as well and we enjoyed the live music and atmosphere. A different experience with a food hall feel having having multiple options / places to order from. Will go back!
Planned a night out with my lady. After hanging out in the arcade, we ventured upstairs to get some food.
Overall, I like the idea of the different mini brands but the overall quality of my steak was poor. The steak was one of most expensive entrees on the menu but definitely not worth it. Her sandwich was a tiny portion as well and not enjoyable. Overall probably wouldn't order food here again but we like the arcade and Moviehouse.
