Ate lunch at 7Spices Restaurant on Airport Blvd. I had the Pastry Lamb . Delicious! If you love Mediterranean and love a spicy delicious tasty dish this is the place. The deserts are very tasty as well. The menu is varied you can also get a burger here. When you enter the door the store is in front so just walk on through the store into the Restaurant. A must try in Mobile . Our server Meredith was absolutely wonderful!
The service and the food are just phenomenal. In town for business went there every night: food is fresh and VERY safe.
THE LAMB SHANK is not listed but it's in the top three I've ever tasted.
A "must visit" in Mobile.
Stopped in on a mini road trip after a reddit recommendation, 7 spice grill is excellent.
We got the baba ganoush and kifta kebob meal that comes with soup/salad and two sides. We got the lentil soup, rice, and veggies and it was so delicious.
I was visiting Mobile and found this Mediterranean Halal place. In the front they have the grocery shop and in the back they have a full dine in restaurant. When i walk in i just had a feeling as you walk in home. Food was amazing. We ordered the chicken shawarma rolls and chicken shawarma hummus for appetizers. Both were amazing and then for main dishes we ordered the tri combo plate and Bobby’s Burger. Everything tasted great and will comeback to try their shawarma sandwiches.
My first visit (carryout) and everything was fantastic. I had the lamb chops with double vegetables and the lentil soup. Everything was seasoned just right. Will definitely be back.
A very good place with some good food you guys and Meredith took very good care of us so go check them out and thank me later!!
After a good, well priced meal, you can wallow in the adjoining foodstore and pick up all sorts of goodies from Irish/English chocolate to Turkish olive oil to green tea from Shanghai!
This is a must pitstop on the way home from the beach!
We ordered baba ghannouj and batata harra as appetizers and kafta, shish tawook and grilled meat as entree, each platter comes with greek salad and 2 choices of rice or fries or grilled vegies, but we asked to get fattouch and tabbouleh instead of greek salad on two platters so my american friends can try the lebanese salads.
Since i am lebanese and i know how should lebanese food taste, i have the following comments:
1- baba ghannouj and batata harra were extremely delicious, but they gave us 1 small bread for 3 of us (it is not enough) when we asked for more bread it arrived late and they charged us on that extra bread.
2- the 3 entrees (kafta, tawook and meat) where amazing and no comment on them.
3- when i ordered the fattouch instead of greek salad, i asked the waitress to have Pomegrenade syrup (dibs al rouman) on the fattoush, she said we dont do it here like that, we just put lemon juice on it (for me that is a turn down). I tasted it, that is not fattouch, i needs more ingredients especially sumac and pomegrenade syrup, and they put extra vinegar in it, the tomatoes were cut really small like tabbouleh. I didnt like it at all. You can call it home made salad of you want but not fattouch
4- the tabbouleh was missing something, too much parsley in it, and the lemon juice in it was not fresh. I didnt like it at all.
Everything else was good.
And they have lot of different goods at their grocery store.
