OMG, this is truly a gem! I’m so glad they opened up here and are extremely delighted with every aspect of my experience there. The hot links are second to none, I had to ask my server was there somebody uncle in the back cooking with open toe shoes on thanks to the tips, he assured me that the cook had on boots???????????? but informed me somebody grandma was chained to the stove making that delicious mac and cheese!!! You absolutely have to come and check this place out!!!
The food is delicious. I have no complaints. The waitress was very attentive and friendly to my family this evening. I must warn you, the hot BBQ sauce is HOT, and we love spicy food. She tried to warn the kids lol. The macaroni, spaghetti, and greens were no good o couldn’t get enough. You really get the bang for your buck foo.
We came in about 7:30pm in Friday. Vibe was cool, DJ playing old school and house jams. Greeted and sat. There were about 5/6 other tables seated who were all eating. The food took more than 40 minutes to arrive at table. Meat was good, fries were hot, however that Mac? Please don't EVER serve that to anyone else. It was disrespectful. It was burnt and dry. Probably should have not ordered it since server told us it was only one more order of it left. My take is it was old and had been rewarmed several times. Melted cheese covered the black noodles. Definitely over seasoned. On the fence about possibly giving em a second chance down the line, but if they wanna stay in business the service must improve and please get a new macaroni recipe. Yes, we are former hospitality workers and we STILL tipped on the entire bill.
I don't know what happened today, but I have been coming here since they opened on River Oaks Dr, always with a pleasant experience.
But today was a huge disappointment.
I wanted some ribs and ordered a half slab of the St. Louis ribs.
The manager placed my order on the counter by another person where they sat until someone figured out it was my order after 30 minutes.
I asked them to give me a fresh order, and heard the kitchen in the back saying why didn't I say something.
I complained to the manager and his response was what do you want me to do dog.
After receiving my order and getting them home the ribs and fries were tough and cold.
I will be back only because my orders in the past was good and I have recommended this place to a lot of people.
The atmosphere in this place is excellent. It could be a great place to dine Not with your entire
f family maybe for two the prices are too high. The food was OK but your barbecue sauce sucks. I thought it would be a good place to stop in and eat The atmosphere is on point, but the food cost no deal. You’re not gonna stay in business because your prices are extremely high and again the barbecue sauce sucks. I can make you a batch and you lower those prices you would become rich.
I will never eat there again???? the cost is to much for the Portion size????????♂️ and yes they charge a Gratuity of 20% for carry out????I ordered rib tips but I believe these are neckbones???? just think we waited for this restaurant to open up just to be disappointed. It’s cool businesses come and go????i wonder why????
It's an okay place for barbeque, but I've had better. Went on a Sunday afternoon after church, only one couple dining in and one waiting for a to go order. Didn't have any liquor so, not sure about the bartender skills. Like I said it's okay.
Good bbq, although a little chewy. Socrates, our sever, was phenomenal. They have comedy shows on Saturday's. I'll be back.
