This was the absolute BEST meal we've ever had! Our hostess was so wonderful right from the moment she seated us...was attentive with a wonderful smile and kept our glasses and plates full. I could cut my filet with a fork...so succulent. To die for. I should have known when I started this experience with the escargot that it would be memorable. We will be back!
My husband and I think this is THE best restaurant we have ever been to. The house, the music, the art... the cocktails, the wine, the food, off the charts. We haven't had a bad meal ever. We love the spinach salad with oysters, the duck, the scallops, the filet.
And every desset...be sure and leave room for dessert. .. and the incredible service!
The location is adorable and romantic, and the service was excellent. I am a vegetarian and asked about an entree, and they made something off menu for me that was absolutely delicious! We are staying at the Wolf Cove Inn and wouldn't have known about this place if it wasn't for them, and I am so happy we got the opportunity to go to such a unique restaurant.
O..M..G, it's like eating in a New York 5 star restaurant except for it's in the peace and quiet of Maine. Excellent food, staff and service. The best anniversary dinner I've even eaten and I highly recommend 76 Pleasant St to everyone coming through our small town.
Cabernet very nice. Venue impressive. Another great meal , wife enjoyed scallops, steak was cooked perfectly. I was a bit disappointed in size of duck but tasty. Desserts nice.
This special restaurant is far more than Pleasant....it is extraordinary! Amy and Brett have created a dining masterpiece! Each plate is cooked to perfection and plated with artfull precision. Even the smooth, delicate creme brulee comes in a heart shaped dish! ????
It's a little difficult for me to review a place like 76 Pleasant street, after all I live a couple of miles up the road. That being said, after living in the Providence RI area for 30 years, I can say that76 Pleasant Street has become our "go to" special occasion restaurant.
Hands down the best meal I have had since I've been state side. Eye opening experience! The food speaks volumes and the service makes the experience so addictive! Comming back next month!!!
