Friendly staff , better come early if you want biscuits and gravy. EXCELLENT FOOD at extremely reasonable prices.. I've included their menu as of 5/21/24 in the photos .
Beware mens room is grimy . It wouldn't take much to remodel it , definitely needs new tiles .. watch your step( there's a step just inside mens room door )
I tell ya I've been to a few different places that say they've got great food and I wasn't impressed. Had no idea that there was a diner here and tried it since I was sitting there anyway and it was awesome. Really great, friendly staff working inside, felt welcomed and comfortable. I'll definitely be swinging by here again any time I'm coming through.
There ain't a whole lot of things that can top a good old fashioned country breakfast out here OTR! Got lucky last night and found a parking spot at this place. Had no idea the gem I had just found until I walked in this morning. Good old country folk(MY PEOPLE) good conversation and great food with the right price!! Will be back anytime I'm in this area!!!
Proper old school truck stop food is top notch country fried steak with mashed potato’s white gravy and green beans was FIRE!!! (Free shower with dinner although it may have been the grimiest shower I’ve ever been in it got the job done) not too many places like this left
At 5 pm and you don't have country gravy to go over country fried steak it's pretty bad. Not the first time. No offer to make some. Only takes a minute. I'll find another place that's willing to serve customers what's on menu.
This place has the very best cooking I've eaten in years!! I highly recommend stopping here and getting a great meal here!! Wonderful nice friendly people, makes you feel at home!!
Nice place. I just wish it had a bigger parking lot ..Parked there for 1hr or so was waiting on my rescheduled delivery time so was able to ear a hot meal and was nice to have found them close to my delivery warehouse..thankful
I was there last lunch hour. Very good burger, way above average green beans, very good location off the interstate, truck parking, reasonably priced. Walls made of semi trailer walls, floor made from trailer floor....VERY AUTHENTIC! You go back in time when you eat here.
...Most importantly very attentive staff. I heard about the food in this place and literally drove an additional 96 miles so I could eat here instead of a "regular" truck stop. It was well worth it. I will definitely be back.
