We’ve been here before, but I wasn’t feeling well so we ended up having to leave before we could order.
Location is beautiful, right on the lake.
Service was really good, waiter was friendly and helpful.
Food - I had the Cuban, triple dip fries and a spicy Bloody Mary. I’ve had a lot of Cubans and this was probably one of the best. It was so good. I had the salad and the dressing was very tasty. The fries could have been a little hotter but I enjoy these types of fries and the three dips were all so good. Spicy Bloody Mary hit the spicy mark for sure.
Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
Phenomenal experience and mouth watering food. The service from Aerianna was amazing and personable. We got the salmon 10/10. It was savory and very tasty! We also got the calamari 10/10. It was bursting with flavors and a delightful delicacy. We had a reservation and I recommend making one if you don’t want to wait.
My recent dining experience was an absolute explosion of flavor! The calamari was a perfect introduction - crispy, tender, and bursting with freshness. It's definitely a contender for my all-time favorite appetizer.
The burger was a revelation. The patty itself was juicy and flavorful, but the real star was the especial sauce. It added a depth and complexity that took the burger to a whole new level.
The flank steak? Wow. It wasn't just delicious, the texture was incredible - melt-in-your-mouth fluffy. A true testament to the chef's skill. I do appreciate the staff who recommended me to have it medium so that I enjoy the tenderness as well as the flavor!
And then came dessert: a decadent symphony of chocolate in 50 shades. It was rich, satisfying, and the perfect ending to a phenomenal meal. To top it all off, the flan was equally delightful.
The staff were super amazing and friendly, attentive, and always there to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. The view of the lake added the finishing touch to a truly memorable evening. Summer can't come soon enough so I can have a seat outside and enjoy it all again!
This was my first time at 6Smith and I’m so glad I chose to come here for brunch with close friends! The restaurant’s view of Lake Minnetonka is amazing, but the food/drinks and service made it so much better!
Aerianna T was our server and she was so friendly, professional and kind. My friends and I found it very easy to chat with her and she was attentive to our table!
The food itself was delish! I got the calamari as an appetizer and the Chimichurri Steak & Eggs as my entree. I wish the calamari came with a thicker, spicy Mayo type sauce and that the Chimichurri Steak & Eggs wasn’t so greasy. Overall still good since I also tried my friends’ dishes! I also got their Cool Water and oh my god- it was SO refreshing!
Can’t wait to come back!
A date night dream!
Made reservations in advance, turned out to be a great idea, they were packed and I see good reason why.
First off our server Kimberly, was excellent, both attentive and never intrusive, understood clearly that unfortunately my wife has a couple dietary restrictions with nuts and honey, and was quick to note and ensure that she would be safe. She also noted that the romesco sauce on my meal did have nuts, showing she was both well trained and knowledgeable, not every place gets this right, I'm comforted to know they did.
We ordered a couple apps, the Bacon Bourbon and the bread, both apps were well done thought out dishes, we'd have a hard time not ordering these every visit. Although restaurant week was kind of the catalyst for us coming back to 6Smith, we weren't necessarily bound to the restaurant week menu selections, but ultimately decided on two dishes on their restaurant week menu, to be honest, everything looked fantastic on the menu, so I didn't think there was a wrong choice either way. I chose the halibut, and my wife chose the filet. Both dishes executed to perfection, wife steak was a perfect medium (her choice) as were the mashed potatoes, she also ordered it Oscar style for a little extra, and it was also a great compliment to the steak. My halibut seared nicely and still perfectly cooked, the sleeper item on my plate was the roasted cauliflower, I like cauliflower, but this was next level, roasted and seasoned again perfectly to pair with the whole dish, it wasn't just a side, it was a perfect compliment to the halibut and romesco sauce.
Wife only had one drink, a martini with olives, but it was well made and a excellent drink.
We also got dessert as an offering to restaurant week menu, The wife got the oreo dessert, which we brought home for the kids as she was full, they said it was great. I however got the flan, and it was some of the best flan I've had in sometime, I somewhat expected the dessert to be a bit of an after thought, I was wrong, clearly there was some attention to detail, this flan far exceeded my expectations, we order flan quite often when going out, this was the best I've had in recent memory.
Been awhile, We realize too long now... In the past 6Smith always been good, and I can see that clearly their standards haven't dropped, although we live in the "other side" of the cities, it's a good reminder that 6Smith is well with the drive and our money.
We had a excellent experience overall, a nice chat with a manager on how impressed we were, we can't wait to go back!
This place is absolutely amazing. The food is expensive but you get large portions and almost everyone from our table took a doggy bag home! I had the chicken and it was super juicy. The sides are so big they can be shared with the table. The atmosphere is perfect right off the lake but parking can be kinda hard. They do have valet which was $10 last night but I got lucky and found a place in the parking lot. All in all great people, our waitress Jen was great, she was on top of things. It's nice to hang out and enjoy the view with good friends.
I came here for a lunch meeting and will be back again and again and again. This was fantastic and our server Paige was so sweet. The food quality was incredible and the prices were beyond fair. You got yourself a lifetime customer.

We went here for the first (and last) time for our 5th year anniversary meal. We had to save up money to be able to afford this lavish meal - and we were SO excited for a date night. Unfortunately, we left disappointed. We went on a Saturday at 5pm and the place was insanely loud. We had to yell to hear each other. The guests sitting in the booth behind used also asked the waiter if they could please turn down the music - it wasn’t just us! You think for an expensive steak dinner we would at least be able to hear each other. Our waiter was super great - nice, knowledgeable, friendly. He even brought us a free glass of sparking wine since we didn’t drink. We ordered two steaks (medium and medium well), the medium was technically cooked to medium well, and the medium well was cooked to well. Disappointed they couldn’t even cook the steak correctly. We also ordered dessert l, a fruit crisp, it was amazing - definitely recommend. After dinner a waitress (who wasn’t serving us) brought over a chocolate cake dessert with a birthday candle, set it in front of us, and then goes “Oh, you guys are the wrong table.” So awkward. We didn’t eat it even though she left it? The restaurant also provided us with a free drink coupon for our next visit in honor of our anniversary - neither of us drink alcohol so it went in the garbage. I don’t think this place was anywhere near the $200+ spent, but I did love the fruit crisp and our great waiter. Hated the loud environment and not correctly cooked steaks.
