Great views, good food! We were a bit skeptical reading other reviews on here, but decided to give it a shot. Service was very quick for 6 o’clock on a Saturday night in the summer. Food was out fast, very good. We both had pasta dishes. A little pricey but a good stop non the less
No hostess and we had to wait several minutes before being acknowledged by the bartender to get seated in the restaurant. It was busy, so let that slide, as well as how long it took to get the below average food. Best part was that I was mostly done eating my burger before my partner was served his. I don't know if cook missed making it or server missed putting it in. And partner got wrong drink the second time.
Only apologized, no comp on meal or second drink.
Newer residents in town and were hoping to have a new place to go as the bar is quaint.
So glad to see the 502 being taken care of and getting the help it needs! We love the patio here so much, you can't beat the view. The drinks and food were all really good, I had the root beer float cocktail and it was perfection. Had the margherita flat bread with fries and it was delicious. We all had something different and everyone really liked their meals. Great time with family and it was so nice to enjoy the patio. The waiter was fab as well! Can't wait to come back again.
Spending many summers at my family's cabin in northern MN, we have frequented the Chase a lot for special meals over the years. The new owners have taken huge strides to improve The 502. I love trying their new menu items and the live music they have been bringing in is great! The staff are clearly hard at work and the views of Leech Lake are unmatched to any other restaurant in Walker. Can't wait to see what they have in store for this place!
502 Get 3 stars mostly for the veiw you can get on the deck with the warm cheese dip & wild rice bread, flower boxes & Leech Lake. We had a 502 burger? Not memorable it actually reminded me of the taste of a Burger from King Burger like that fake charcoal taste & the bacon, mushrooms, oinions & spinich were chopped small little bits. I'd order it again. The almond crusted walleye was awesome!!! The wild rice wasn't quite done and the sauteed vegetables were awful as you can see in the pictures of the baby carrots for $24.00 you would think the could make sure the food was fully cooked & worth the value.

❤We love The Chase On The Lake the service is good & it's gorgeous historical Resort on Walker bay. Walk around & explore the hotel, gounds & public dock relax and enjoy.
????You can also come by boat if there is dock space to park.
It's hard to find seasonal help that put out the quality you expect at such a beautiful place hopefully they will get it figured out.
I’m actually writing this review before being served. Our party of 8 asked politely to sit on the lakeside patio on an 80 degree day at 4:00pm. 6 staff were standing idle by the kitchen, and we were told the patio was closed, even though other guests were already seated outside. Disappointed with service alone.
I'm so impressed with the menu improvements and quality of food and drinks since the new owners/management took over this summer! This is what Walker needed. You have to try the jalapeño black and blue burger, Leech Lake Jambalaya and THE PRETZEL!!
Dinner was great & The service was great! I had Prime Rib, it was cooked to perfection, and my wife had the Cob salad, and also really enjoyed it!
