I enjoyed the food... great atmosphere
The food was great and the drinks were even better ????????????
Very disappointed.... when my main course arrived, I found wax paper stuck to my plantain bowls, the chef acknowledged that it was and accommodated; so thank you for that. The steak was horrible!! Way too much garlic sauce I mean pure garlic I couldn't taste any flavor in the steak at all... pink beans were so salty I could not even eat them! The yellow rice was microwaved not fresh at all. I hope this was just an off night because the atmosphere is pretty cool. Best wishes going forward.
Very impressed with this bar. The drinks are extremely generous, and a bargain at around $5 for a Long Island iced tea. The food is very reasonable priced with plenty of options at or under $10. It all tastes great as well, a good take on bar food. Definitely recommended for getting drinks and dinner with friends.
I live nearby and gave this restaurant 3 attempts, all 3 times I was asked to sit wherever I wanted but I would never get any kind of service. Today I waited over 20 minutes and the one waiter just kept walking by us and did not acknowledge my partner and I at all, but would take care of people that came in after us. My partner and I finally gave up, and left. We went to Parilla y Sabores across the street, we were quickly greeted, and enjoyed the best dinner I've had in a while.
Love the food! Some of the wait staff are a little on the rude side. Not as attentive as they should be but the food makes up for it. The place is very nice and spacious. The shrimp cups are my favorite!
Poor customer service, went there to celebrate a friends birthday - called ahead of time they stated they stop taking orders at 730. We arrived prior to 7:30, nobody greeted us, we stood around and then begin putting tables together why the waiter or owner indulged in a conversation at the bar. After 15 minutes of us standing around and creating our own seating, she comes over and tells us we can only get fried food and the bar closes in 5 mins. When we called she may as well had said do not bother to show up I do not plan on working anymore.
The food was good and pretty good price
