Best WLM Reviews
Best BBQ hands down! Consistently delicious, fresh, and so dang good. I even bought their cookbook just for the smokehouse corn recipe! My favorite is the six shooter and the husband gets the brisket moist.. It’s fast casual so you order as you go through the line and take your tray to sit down, but they had Philip in the dining area helping with anything else you might need. He was super friendly and quick to offer help removing trays and bring any refills as needed. Well managed- I’ve never had any complaints there.
I recently visited 4 Rivers in Longwood to pick up lunch for my aunt who was under the weather and had a specific craving for their food. While I regretfully forgot to take pictures of the meals, the experience and the quality of the food were so remarkable that I felt compelled to write a review.
I ordered two kids’ meals, which were not only delicious but also offered great value. One consisted of a perfectly cooked 1/4 chicken, juicy and flavorful, and the other was a pork slider, which was a hit!
As a testament to their inclusive menu, 4 Rivers also offers fantastic vegan options. This is a wonderful feature, catering to diverse dietary preferences and needs. It’s always a pleasure to dine at a restaurant that considers and provides for a variety of tastes and diets.
The hot sauce deserves a special mention. It was the perfect blend of spice and flavor, adding an extra zing to the meals without overpowering them. It’s definitely a must-try for those who enjoy a bit of heat with their food.
Lastly, the desserts were a standout specifically the chocolate chip cookies. Fresh and utterly delicious, they were the perfect end to the meal. Each dessert was crafted with care, and you could really taste the quality in every bite.
In conclusion, my experience at 4 Rivers in Longwood was nothing short of fantastic. From their diverse and tasty menu to their fresh and delectable desserts, they’ve got something for everyone. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area looking for a satisfying meal, whether you’re a meat-lover, vegan, or just someone with a sweet tooth!
4Rivers knows how to do Texas BBQ. I had the three sliders with lean brisket, pulled pork and two sides (beans and bread pudding). The sauces are wonderful too. It’s a must — especially with out of town visitors.
My husband had the pulled pork platter with baked beans and coleslaw. He said it was excellent. I tasted it and I agree. In an effort to watch my waistline, I ordered the salad. I will be enjoying it for lunch again tomorrow. It was also excellent. I loved the cornbread croutons. You can’t go wrong with anything you order from 4 Rivers. It’s all good!
Your food has always been amazing. I travel 45 minutes each way just to get your food.
Your line server – my apologies I don’t remember his name. He was very polite, courteous and had an amazing smile.
Your cashier could learn from your line server about smiling. I won’t hold it against her. She did smile after seeing the tip I left.
Would I come back? Absolutely.
Brisket was dry and tough. Big let down. Burnt ends weren't really burnt ends. It was a mix of pulled pork, and some pieces of burnt ends tossed in. And finally, the sausage was okay, tasted plain. When I got back home, I realized they forgot to include utensils, and the receipt clearly stated to include utensils. They did include the requested BBQ sauce.
Despite reading some of the older reviews about cold food, I thought maybe there'd be no issue because I was doing a takeout order and not delivery.
Big mistake on my part.
First and foremost, everything was cold Ribs were very overcooked dry shards of meat. It looked like they sat out all day. The baked potatoes were undercooked and hard on the inside. The one breadroll was stale. It didn't tear, but quite literally broke in half.
The dessert was also a letdown. The strawberry shortcake was a mush of greying strawberries, sour tasting cream, and a nasty slurry of what used to be cake, but obviously sat past it's sell date while soaking up all the old berry and dairy juices.
Congratulations, Four Rivers. For the first time ever, I've thrown out an order of food in its entirety. A total waste of money, never again.
My past job caters to this restaurant, and today, I decided to try it. The person who took my order gave me a completely different side. The baked beans are too sweet. The collard green had too much vinegar and no flavor. My friend's cornbread was dry. And not everyone likes spicy cornbread; please consider regular cornbread too. The worst thing is that she wrote my order on the same paper and surface she put my food on. Come on, note the order on a different piece of paper. The ribs were liking fingers good ????
