Such an awesome place, service and food! Wish we could have sat outside but the deck was full but the inside views were amazing!
3 of us come once a month because we love the location and usually the food. We have appetizers and drinks. The apps we ordered were much smaller proportions and not as good as other times. Plus prices have gone up. I dont think you can have it both ways. If I had to choose I would say keep the proportions the same and maintain a good kitchen staff to provide food to come back for.
I’ve heard so much about 308 Lakeside so I was excited to go and check it out. The food was decent but the views were spectacular. It can get a bit chilly so it would be a good idea to bring a sweater. It’s a really laid back place and kid friendly. It’s the perfect place to grab a drink, relax and watch the sunset.
This is a really great place for some good food and to sit on the lake. The sweet potato fries are really really good here and so is the service. I would highly recommend this place especially if you're traveling. We are up here on vacation and have already eaten here twice
I feel the portions on the b.nut squash ravioli could be a little more. Yes delicious of course but, you get the equivalent of a TV dinner portion as in what you get in a Lean Cuisine for a high price(today's pricing with everything going up so I understand) . The service was good but, the waitress came across as snippy when we said no we don't want dessert (then again maybe she was joking).
The atmosphere was loud in such a low ceiling place as the acoustics don't spread out in the room as good as you might want during a meal. I'm not here to whine and complain about my experience, just to tell you what I experienced. However this place is a nice local gem to have around and I'm glad they're still afloat in these crazy times of the economy and eating out costs.
Me and my husband went for dinner Friday night. We made reservations and put we wanted to be seated outside because it's always a hassle to get a spot out there, I was extremely happy we were able to sit out there this time. I had an espresso martini which was strong but I loved that! I ordered the alfredo with steak which was s good, and my husband got the fish and chips and the fish was huge, he loved it! We have been coming here for years and every trip is always a great experience! Highly recommend coming here if your in the area and never been!
Very spectacular service. I ordered the Thursday special of shrimp primavera, and it tasted like spring. It was bland but I dig that because it wasn’t salty and heavy at all. My fiancé got the French sandwich, and that was good! My mom got the fish and chips. We went during the nighttime, so there wasn’t much of a view of the lake, but we will probably try again in the afternoon/day time!
There aren’t many restaurants around this area, so I highly recommend!
Ordered the Cajun prime rib with a few sides. Best meal I’ve had locally in quite some time. Cooked perfectly. All the sides were piping hot. Amazing meal
