Regular local pier in downtown Myrtle Beach. Wicked Tuna is the restaurant attached to the pier, surrounded by hotels on both sides always a lot of people in and out of this area, also very locals spot, and spot you will see homeless, and beggars under pier or on the beach. One hotel very close by lets anyone stay there and is the cheapest hotel in the area attracts a lot of drugs! Not an area to let you teens walk the beach or street by themselves!! Durring the day it’s ok but after dark please be safe!
Friendly staff, beautiful weather and scenery and the drinks were good. We stopped in for a quick drink and to check the place out. It's weird that they charge to go on the pier ($1) but I think that's only if you don't buy anything bc when we got our drinks they asked if we were taking them outside (plastic cups), and we spent the entire time on the pier. Plenty of places to sit and relax and enjoy the views. Great photo opps.
There is some free parking right out front if you can find a spot. It cost $2.00 to walk on the pier and $12.00 to fish. It wasn’t too crowded for a Saturday evening. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and there were some beautiful photo opportunities. The wicked tuna restaurant is also there. We had some sushi and I had the wicked punch. It was all delicious.
You have to pay $2.00 per person to go up and get on the pier. It is not handicap accessible that I could see. Beautiful views! Lots of fishing ???? from the pier! It's attached to a restaurant! Parking is also $2.00 per hour or $15.00 for the day, and it's worth it if you are going to walk the boardwalk and surfshops!
Stopped here before heading back to Kentucky. Loved the walk and the view while on the pier. There were a lot of people fishing that day and some were catching fishes. Hoping to come back to this place and do some fishing also.
I'm a single mom with a 5 year old that loves to fish. We came with nothing because online fatuous they have everything you need... and they did! The guy gave us our pole already rigged up and a bucket of bait then told us where to go, what to do, and how to do it. My son caught a Spot and a Pigfish. It was a great time! There is a photo vendor with a fake shark display on the pier. He takes fantastic photos and the photo quality was surprisingly good. 3 for $20... well worth it.
Great place to park! Only $2 per person to park and walk the pier and watch folks fishing. Friendly, helpful employees. You can rent fishing gear but you do need a fishing license.
You pay 2$ to go on it and the ticket is good for all day long. You usually see people fishing at this spot. Sinks available for them .
Beautiful to visit and take pictures of the vast ocean and coast. ( no restrooms available to the public)
