I've been getting my hair cut by Sarah from 48th Ave for about 8 years. Since it was 24th ave cuts by safeway on knob hill. Highly recommended. Just call in advance!
After checking out the website and it saying they accepted walk on clients I chose to go there. I walked in, mistakenly thought the receptionist was speaking to me, but she was answering the phone. When she hung up she glared at me, no hello, nothing. I asked if I could get my hair cut. In a very curt tone she said no, I would need an appointment. I said their website states they take walk ins. She replied, not any more. She was anything but friendly. I will never go back. I spent my money else where and got a really cute cut. Try Sara's Salon on Nob Hill...friendly and they take walk ins. Ask for Tonny. He cut mine and did a great job...plus he was friendly.
Only if zero stars was a thing. A very unprofessional and ignorant company. They won’t give refunds and don’t even have a refund policy in place. If they mess up which granted does happen we’re human,(that includes the owner Melinda who is a stylist on the floor) you won’t get your money back. To risky of a chance for me, and that’s sadly speaking from experience.
Luckily, I had my hair fixed by an excellent stylist at Indigo Salon! Go check them out! Way better environment and energy!
Amazing place. Staff really listens to their clients and help them make their hair goals come true. Highly highly recommend. Especially Lisa she is Amazing. Did root touch up with light baliage even on my odd color. Lisa made my hair feel and look amazing.
Love this salon! They do an amazing perm for a great price and the last one I got lasted well over a year! My fiance Garth turned me onto this place years ago and I absolutely love it, all the stylists are personable and great to talk to!
Great staff and customer service here. Owners are welcoming and caring. Prices are inline with other full service hair care. Overall great place to get your hair done. Color, cuts, hair products, for young and old.
I have come to this location for nearly 20 years LONG before it was renamed by my favorite stylist. I have continued to come here my most recent visit being 2/3/21 and I will say they have not missed a beat. I love these people like family. After all, they watched me grow up.
This is where I take my grandson for his haircut. They really do great, he's 22. We're usually a walk-in and they attend to us like we are regular customers with an appointment - courteous friendly, conversational. Nice folks and good service.
