Had a meeting, and this location was suggested. We arrived and were quickly seated. Extensive menu with many expected dishes and some I have never heard of before. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki with no vegetables. Food arrived in about the expected amount of time.
Some of the most amazing sushi I've ever had! Excellent service as well. Clean atmosphere. Two entrances: one from South Street and one at the amphitheater. Only have 4 stars for the food bc the Panang Curry wasn't as spicy and flavorful as I had hoped. Other than that, this place is great! Will be coming back.
The location is a little hard to get to but that is the only negative I have.
The sushi was very tasty and full of flavor.
The Bangkok fried rice was really good.
It was a little expensive it overall good.
Food and Service was absolutely incredible! The prices are pretty expensive but it's so worth it. It was kinda loud but besides that the atmosphere was nice and sunny.
Each semester I take my culinary students out to restaurants 3 of 5 months. This month they chose this new spot. I stopped by a few weeks prior to grab a menu which the owner said is a temporary menu. It was several pages and I thought...how much bigger can you make it?? It did NOT disappoint! Lamb chops, chicken, steak, Ramen and noodles among other things were all added! Our group got every starter (except the sampler because that was unnecessary). Don't judge! We are all foodies!! Lol EVERYTHING (well, except the little mushy crab filled fried puff things) was good! I am told they go really well with sake for those who partake. Maybe it was the texture or maybe we just compared it to the other things or maybe because we don't drink sake....Idk, try it for yourself. It may be fabulous.
One student thought her sauce was a bit too sweet but you can opt for the sauce on the side. I love sauces and each dish had its own. I love that there is a wow factor in the plate-up. I don't see that much on this side of town.
A big THANK YOU to the owners for welcoming us and chatting with my students.
Note: I went back 2 days later to try yet another menu item I was SO impressed. As I spoke to the wife owner, I learned about her passion for what she has put together in this space and like me...is not a fan of baking.
I shared that I'm scheduled to take students on Tour to Thailand soon and gained a wealth of information from her.
Note #2: There is no kids menu! Hear me out though...there doesn't need to be! There are so many menu items, you can piece together a kid's meal and maybe have leftovers. Example: the Chicken satay comes on skewers, fun to eat with the peanut dipping sauce if you want and a side of rice or veggies. Done!
I really appreciate them not throwing in fries and chicken fingers on the menu. Y'all! Come for a Thai experience and culture your children's palate. Please! This way, when they come to my culinary class in high school, they enjoy something more than fast fried foods and when we get into various cuisines they will look forward to tasting them.
Thanks in advance..mini rant over.
I'm grateful for such good food and good people setting up just off the Square in Carrollton.
If you have not been yet, please, support. We must, if we want to keep quality spots around. It is worth a drive if you are in neighboring cities. There is something for everyone.
Lastly, I enjoyed the various dishes they used to display the food. I'm also a potter and got all kinds of ideas.
Favorite Dish: Snapper...Sweet, spicy, crunchy, balanced and great size especially if everyone is tasting.
Service was also great. My students were seeing a lot of what we discuss in class regarding FOH (front of the house). Ryan was great and Angelique also on my 2nd visit. Even others checked on us in passing.

So very delicious. Immaculate even. The fish is so fresh and high quality. The presentations and athomosphere there was so welcoming. Had a great time here and every server did a really good job. I'll be going here for my next anniversary for sure.
First time visiting... waited an hour, but it was well worth the wait. Food is great. Atmosphere is great. We will be back for sure.
It's a new place, so they were struggling to keep up with sushi orders when we got there. But they warned us ahead of time and were SOOO FRIENDLY. The service was great and the food was fantastic. The owner came by several times to check on us, and we could also see/hear him greeting other tables to ensure everyone was having a good experience. We had hulk roll, steamed dumplings and green curry chicken. Would highly reccomend.
