Shout out to Ricky for getting me right. I arrived a few minutes early to my appointment and he was ready right away. The shop is very clean and has great vibes. I was able to show Ricky what I wanted and he replicated the haircut no problem and even gave me tips and recommendations for maintenance. Great experience overall and I’ll be back!
So happy I ran across this barbershop, this place lived up to all its good reviews. When you walk in you are greeted kindly, booking is super easy, and the prices are fair. Brian took care of my son. I am very picky about my sons haircuts ,but Brian did a great job he is very detailed oriented and my son refuses to go anywhere else now. Highly recommend this place

I've had two great cuts from Moody. I had been looking for a new place in the Walnut Creek/Concord area, and this place is amazing!
All the guys are genuinely great at their jobs, and Moody/Maury helped me cut a new style I haven't tried before. They're efficient, and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes after arriving for my appointment, but they take their time on the details for the cuts (I don't feel like they're rushing anyone to get to another client). It's an overall great experience, and I'd highly recommend this place. Be sure to call to make an appointment in advance; they get booked up on Fridays/Saturdays.
Ezekiel‘s first and only barbershop ????
My son Ezekiel is seven months old and he has been coming to 1920 barbershop since he was three months old . Ezekiel was born with lots of hair which made him experience a barbershop at a young age. Isaiah is his barber and watching him be gentle and patient with my son through his haircuts is heartwarming.
Highly recommend this barbershop. Isaias does a fantastic job and is consistent with every cut. Been coming here for a couple years and always have a great experience. The atmosphere and the attitude of all the barbers is very welcoming.
We have been seeing Isaiah since my son was 5 years old and he is now 15. Isaiah has always been patient and he was especially patient when my wiggly 5 year old would go from moving to falling asleep during his haircuts. He always asks my son what he wants and has created a sweet bond of trust when he cuts his hair. They talk music, video games, art to everyday life. The haircuts are always on point, he always gets compliments on his cuts. Highly recommend this shop, it’s so worth it.
I can’t say enough about the friendliness and the level of customer service at 1920 Barbershop. Before the holidays I decided to drop in without an appointment. I had never been to 1920 before. Marco was willing to squeeze me into his schedule. I wanted to change up my hair and beard style but didn’t know what direction to go in. Marco was very patient with me and gave me an excellent, detailed cut, a full service shave, and a beard trim. His attention to detail is next level. All of the barbers at 1920 are a master at their craft.
To go a step further, 1920 sold me some pomade and I didn’t end up like it the type of hold and level of shine. When I came back for my 2nd cut, I mentioned this in passing, and Ricky gave me a different type of product at no charge and told me to bring back the partially used container of pomade also at no charge. They were more concerned about finding the right product for me than they were about maximizing profit. This is the type of service that makes me loyal to a business.
Look, 1920 is a bit more expensive than than those chain hair cutting places, but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this shop.
