The noodles they serve up are pretty generous, no denying that. But gotta say, feeling a bit let down by the skimpy meat portion. On a happier note though, the soup packs a real punch in the flavor department!
I used to like this place! But last time I came here, service was still great, and while the noodles to broth ratio was OK, but the ratio of to meat was severely lacking. What used to be a whole slice was cut in half, plus, you finish the meat WELL before you even finish the noodles or broth. So while they kept prices low, you have to account for the extra $2+ you need to pay for extra meat, and even then, I'm not sure they'd give enough.

You can choose the hardness/softness, and the thickness of the noodles, all sorts of choices. The broth was really good. Proportions of meat to noodles was great!
And their dumplings were nice! Not puffy, and filled with air. Packed with goodness in every bite!
I love comfort food. And they offered that but there just wasn't enough flavor in the soup. I don't mind light broth. But their both yesterday night was like water and salt. Noodle texture were great.

I'd go back if looking for somewhat later night clean broth. But overall, I'm a bit disappointed. Maybe I'm too picky or it was an off day.
My favorite place to get mala noodles from. Strong mala taste and fresh noodles. The pig ears are also a good recommendation here. I tasted the broth from a few other noodle soups and they were good as well. The only feedback I have is that the tables could be cleaned better.
Choose from 7 different types of hand pulled noodles in soup or dry form. Potato salad and beef dumplings were great!
Great quiet store for a quick lunch at 3pm after lunch hour rush. The potato salad, dumplings and beef noodles were all great. Ordered kelps but now I know kelps is not my favourite, no fault of 1919 though ????
Perfect handmade noodles with so many thickness options, tasty beef soup with irresistible flavor of spices, aromatic chili oil… this bowl of noodle always make my day.
Free parking in the spacious parking garage.
Finally, a worthy restaurant that can make me come to this dying plaza. The noodles taste authentic and flavorful. The beef is succulent and soup is cooked as perfect as it can be.
