Best WLM Reviews

I visited this establishment for my birthday & I must say I really enjoyed myself. I did bottle service & we were seated in the patio area which was spacious & really nice. They had food trucks on the premises (food was great) & our waitress was really nice & professional. I also had the pleasure to meet one of the owners Clyde. He greeted us & asked us about our experience which was nothing less than AMAZING!!! We had to park a little far but other than that I had a good time.
I came into town. Came here to order food. The food was a little pricey for the portion given. Went into the restaurant, no tissue or paper towels. I asked a young lady named Dee, who was rude when asked about placing tissue in the bathroom. I requested the manager and was advised they were the manager and no one else over them. I met my business partner outside to inform him I'm ready to go because of the service I wasn't pleased with and what occurred.
My business partner went across the street to speak with PR regarding a section for the evening. Was only outside standing discussing business under 10 mins. They car was towed and was informed that the owner Clyde called/ texted requested for the car to be removed. I spoke back to rude girl D "manager" asking why car was towed because we were patrons there just ran across street to conduct business less than 10 mins. They said they have no idea and they tow watchers. I requested Clyde, who tow Guy LA told me who made a request.
When I spoke to Clyde, he denied everything, with no empathy or sympathy regarding this scam. The tow company informed them that they don't watch cars because they had a bad run end with them requesting cars to come back and not pay. He said Clyde reached out to him and showed the message and call. He said every car owner gets a small token. Now, Clyde said that folks, not patrons, have to pay $30. However, we were and no signs out, but park here, no dollar amount listed. Also, no parking attendees cover the lot if folks want to park or money box to pay for slots.
After further research, he had run ends with the city last summer about to lose property and volume low. So, he's on a money hunt to make up his loose. But this is unacceptable, and especially, not knowing my role with the city. Let's see how things turn out for 2024. Mr. Clyde.
This is a CUTE spot! Lots of seating, especially outdoors. The staff shirts are hella dope and I like the vibe. Destiny was our bartender. I'm a tried and true long Island drinker, and she did not hesitate to make it the best one! Added some strawberry grenadine, a lemon and a fresh strawberry! It was strong and tasty! She was sweet and intentional! I appreciate that on black establishments!! This was my 1st time and I will definitely return!!
I came here on 1/9/21 around 7:20pm with friends to celebrate a couple birthdays. Social distancing isn't really followed. It was packed inside. Masks are required, however. Staff are wearing masks. They have fires and heaters outside, but it was cold. The only app they have is salmon bites. Since we were only coming where for drinks before going to our dinner reservation at 8pm, I wanted an app due to not eating since earlier. The only app they have is salmon bites. When I ordered it, the waitress left and then came back and told me that they didn't have anymore It's disappointing that they only have 1 app and then didn't even have any. We asked for the drink menu for specials but then the waitress never came back with with. I eventually went inside and got my card back from the waitress (as I agreed to keep my tab open). Throughout my time here, several people asked if we were helped and wanted anything but I said I was fine after our waitress didn't help. Plus we had to leave by 7:45pm. It just wasn't worth it anymore, tbh. I didn't want to spend money here ‍ I'm not sure if I would be back here. Although the items on the menu looked good, they need to ensure food availability. We were sat at table 22 outside and then table 39 inside. Note: I didn't get any food or drinks from this establishment, so I can't judge on the taste or quality of food/drinks. Review is solely based upon customer service and covid precautions.
It's definitely a vibe on Sunday, with the music, hookahs, and drinks!! Oh, let's not forget the best seafood truck in Charlotte is parked 33rd and Main...do you see this Seafood Eggroll?? Don't play...this eggroll is LIFE!!
My first time in Charlotte and was looking for a place to watch the Fury fight. 1501 not only had free admission they had no charge to watch the fight!! The staff is super friendly and the drinks are AMAZING!! I luv that they have card games and my favorite Jenga. Looking for a new place to vibe with a diverse crowd 1501 is a must visit. If I make it back for CIAA Basketball tournament I'll be here again for sure!!
Nice vibe with amazing food. We received great customer service as it was our first time. I well definitely be going bk soon. It's the Brussel sprouts for me
We went here for a happy hour recently and it was a really cool place to hang out.
They have a handful of taps and a large selection of bottles. They had snacks available for purchase as well as two food trucks. One of them is permanently there and I think the other one rotates.
I got a carnitas burrito from the food truck owned by Max and Lola. It was really good, but a little on the small side. Since people tried empanadas from the other food truck and weren't very impressed.
We sat outside because someone had a dog and they don't allow dogs inside. The outdoor area is really nice. There are lots of picnic tables in the shade.
There was live music playing inside as well.
This feels like a great neighborhood hangout and something unique to South End. I would recommend checking it out!
