We visited here 2/28/23 before her amazing business was taken over through her ex.
As a truckers wife, and staying in the beautiful state of Louisiana, we just had to stop here. And the food was freakin' GOOD. I had the 2 meat combo. Damn their chicken, beans, macaroni is amazing. Plus they have good service. Very nice folk that make good food ????
Great tasting home-cooked BBQ. For all my fellow truckers and everybody else looking for some food food at reasonable prices this is the spot to check out. I got the two meat plate with two sides for only 11.99 my two meats are brisket witch I must SAY!.... IS VERY MOIST and delicious. Also got the chicken which also was very moist and juicy. Very surprising especially being that it is grilled. The Mac n cheese was very cheesy and delicious and the baked beans ver also very delicious. Now that potato saled wasn't the best but wasn't the worst. Also the BBQ sauce was spot on DELICIOUS!!. FINALLY the pecan pie!! Is a must try!!. Overall.. 5stars.
I'm always skeptical about new places that have 5 star reviews. Usually its a bunch of pity reviews. This place deserves its 5 stars. Everything is very good the outstanding part of the meal was the brisket and the beans. The brisket was fatty and juicy. A far cry from most every other barbecue place
I got the meat and 2 sides plus the 3 wing and pecan pie. Very reasonablely priced. The smoked ribs are probably some of the best I’ve ever had and my mouth did a happy dance, the Cajun rice could have been a meal in its self.
The wings were definitely worth it. I tried with and without bbq sauce sssooo good. The bbq sauce was just right not too sweet. The pecan pie was just right for me. I’m extremely happy and will definitely be back. The wonderful people made my experience even better. Thank you three
Hands down best damn bbq Iv had and I look for it trust me. Great service. Up sold on the pie. Mac was to die for and the bbq. Jesus sent these lady’s to give us a peace of heaven.
This place has all three, Good service, Good BBQ, Good location. Ribs (tender, spiced perfect, good smoke) Brisket ( juicy, good bark, cooked perfectly) Sausage (good snap, good ingredients, perfectly cooked) Sides Cajun Rice (Spicy like it should be, plus not too salty) Macaroni (cheesy and cheesy). I’ve been to a lot of BBQ places across this great country and this place is definitely one of the best. Service was excellent from start to finish. BBQ was definitely cooked by ppl who know their BBQ. Sides, especially these ones, bonus to make a great BBQ place. Truckers out there make this a definite stop when coming through here.
Return to the same place after few months. I took double brisket and ribs and double sides. So tasty, that I’m ordered another for next day. Outstanding meat!! One of the best brisket I ever get with proper texture, moisture and smoking ring. Gentleman that making it is the one of the best bbq smoker in the entire country.
Perfect Location ???? The food Is delicious and the Staff is friendly . The 2 meats and 2 sides is enough to feed A Man For sure! And sandwiches are amazing ???? ???? . Portion size is great and price is even better! $20.00 can easily feed two people...I love this joint. We plan to stop here Routinely anytime we're in Rayville.
