If you enjoy a true classic fish and chips, then please know the negative comments about this place do not apply! The white fish inside the batter is always cooked well and doesn't have a funky after taste. The batter itself is very lightly seasoned and has a great bite with a nice crunch. Sure, they don't put all kinds of seasonings on it or loads of salt and pepper, but then that wouldn't be the traditional kind of fish and chips. To go with it, they have the most delicious tarter sauce you can find anywhere. It's so good. Especially with the deep fried prawns. Other than the fish and chips, fried prawns with a order of large tarter sauce, I haven't tried much else on the menu. But there is no need lol those items stand all on their own. Please, at least try this place and make up your own mind. I don't think you'll regret it.

First time here and was not disappointed. Food is reasonably priced compared to other locations and current market. The fish was crispy inside and out and the prawns were delicious. I went around 5pm, placed order and out within 15 mintues. Hours posted online were accurate. Place was easy to find and parking not a problem. The place is made to order, take out only. #supportlocalbusinesses

It was ok, the batter was not as fluffy as I would have liked and a little salt to kick it up a notch.

I've been going here for years and I really love their vegetable mix tempura batter deep fried a crispy Delight. From your customer known as "no green onions".

I was craving old school fish and chips, so I went here ordered the 2 piece fish and chips, it was great, tasty, great tartar sauce and vinegar, overall a 4 out of 5. Took 1 star off because it took a bit long, but it was worth the wait

Pleasantly surprised! The food was great and not greasy. I had the clams and they were not chewy or rubbery and not crispy...very good. My partner had the fish, also very good. I had reservations when I saw the chips/fries already made, but they were crisp. They gave us wet wipes and we didn't need them!!! That is a great sign for a fish and chips place>

If you're craving fish and chips this place hits the spot. Everything is pretty much hand dipped. Love the mixed veggies. Got chicken nuggets for the kids, expecting something frozen and deep fried, nope hand dipped boneless pieces of chicken. Hand made Cole slaw. Hand packed tar-tar sauce, malt vinegar. The sweet and sour has a nice hint of heat. Decent prices and decent portions.

The fish and chips have been consistently good here. The coleslaw is good as well. I always get extra tartar sauce because it is so good! A must to try if you are wanting some fish and chips and to support a local business!
