Best WLM Reviews
i went to 10-4 to get my industrial pierced and had absolutely no problems at all with them! they were both so awesome. me and my friend went (both for piercings) and the lady who pierced us seemed to know exactly what she was doing and she was fast. she also went through precautions that have to do with the healing process and i greatly appreciated all her tips and tricks!
I did read reviews before I went, a lot to do with the children being in studio and the couple fighting. That really didn’t bother me. What bothers me is the outcome of these piercings I received. I have quite a few and have been to so many places to get them done and never in my life have I had more problems with these ear piercings than any thing else. From the day after my ears were already starting to get infection. I know how to care for them properly but nothing was helping. As I spent quite a bit of money, I was trying to save them. Even had to get out on antibiotics my whole ear was blown up and purple it was awful. After that nothing was helping, I’ve never in my life changed Jewelry early but it was my last resort. I ended up switching to some not from their shop and within days, my ears started to drain all the puss all the normal color was back and the swelling was starting to decrease. It’s been 3 months roughly and I still cannot even lay on that side. It really makes you question the cleanliness of this shop.
I went to this shop 4 month’s ago to get a simple neck tattoo, three black crows. I didn’t mind the wait, but the couple constantly argued in front of my wife and I the entire time. I had a little scarring from the tattooing being a little deep and the color bled out quite a bit, but since it’s on my neck and I work outside I expected that to happen. But I made an appointment for today at 1:00 p.m. for my one free touch up on the tattoo and I had also planned to get my nose pierced. I arrived ten minutes early, the door was locked so I rang the doorbell and called the shop and finally someone came out. They said that they weren’t ready for me and said to come back in twenty minutes not even inviting me inside. So I left and came back twenty-thirty minutes later, again I rang the doorbell and called multiple times but no one answered me or greeted me. So I ended up just leaving to go to a shop in Carterville Missouri. I highly recommend From Above Ink they brought me right in and took great care of me.

If you are looking for quality customer service, well-trained employees and well-crafted tattoo designs, do not go here. I think the one star reviews speak for themselves, and the way this shop chooses to respond to those reviews is ESPECIALLY telling.
We made a day-of appointment for my friend to get a tattoo, and my two other friends to get their ears pierced. We were told to come back in an hour, and we were courteous enough to show up 10 minutes early. The moment we walked into the shop, there is clutter everywhere and a crying baby. We sat for 25 minutes before we were helped, and the baby was left completely unattended several times. The worker who helped us sign in and pay was asking the owner of the shop how to pierce ears, and she was yelling at him and telling him to “just do it.”
The owner was condescending to all of us, and pressuring my friend to get a tattoo she didn’t want to. After all of these red flags, we decided to look up reviews of the shop. We saw they had a 3.5 star rating before calling for the appointment, but hadn’t read any reviews yet. The first one we saw was about the two sisters getting their first tattoos and those getting infected, and the final straw was the entirely unprofessional response the shop wrote to the 1-star rating. Good customer service does not make excuses, and certainly doesn’t degrade new clients getting their first tattoos.
By the time we tried to leave, we had been in the shop, no services provided to any of us, for over an hour and 25 minutes.
We decided to get a refund and leave, and the shop owner was rude and asking personal questions about why we had to go. All she did was pull an image from the internet, printing it off as a stencil and charged us $200. She even asked us “Have y’all ever even been to a tattoo shop before?” When we told her it took too long and we needed to leave. She also would not give my friend a full refund because they had already set up for her piercing, but hadn’t started yet simply bc the supplies were “out.”
I understand us leaving was annoying, but she was entirely unprofessional while making excuses about why she couldn’t give us a full refund. She was asking invasive questions, rolling her eyes and saying things under her breathe. For real, save yourself the headache and don’t go here.
I’ve been getting tattoos done for years by professional and kind tattoo artists, and I have NEVER been treated this way in a shop before. Whether you’re wanting to get a tattoo for the first time or you’re a long-time tattoo getter, do not go here. This tattoo artist gives the tattoo community a bad name.
Went here a few weekends ago and will not be returning I got my tattoo done by the apprentice (I don’t remember his name which is my bad) but I wouldn’t recommend. I followed all their aftercare instructions and everything to the T,,,but they didn’t wrap it right after or how I know most places do (I know because my parents have had tattoos and I’ve seen them do after care) and after it was fine for a few days then it started leaking ooze and the ink didn’t take what so ever so I now have half a tattoo and an infection. Wouldn’t recommend them at all.
A couple weeks ago my sister and I went in for a sister tattoo on our vacation. We arrived on time and didn't end up getting seen until an hour later. The whole time we were there the artist was baby sitting, the baby was crying the whole time. We ended up being there for like 2 hours when it took only 10 minutes to do. This was my first tattoo but i swear she dug into my skin with the first letter. Other than that the rest of the tattoo was easy, the fee was 75$ but since it wasn't straight letters she added another 25$ so we ended up spending 100$ each. After the first couple days it already got infected and started fading, I washed and put tattoo cream on, making sure it was clean and could heal right but the H looks like its peeling off and is just a scar but the rest of the tattoo is doing good. Its just faded and the H is messed up. My sisters is all infected and faded as well. All together not the best experience for my first tattoo. -Marcy and Tony.
