Good points: location good so not a lot of road noise, sheets were clean & bed was comfortable.|Bad points: carpet was filthy and hadn’t been vacuumed, bathroom floor not clean, no continental breakfast, no coffee maker available in room, coffee was available in office but when hubby went down in the morning to get some it was a full pot of cold coffee. He said the coffee maker light was on tho! The photos showing this place are old and not up to date. The place needs a good cleaning inside and out.
Absolutely the worst motel I have ever stayed in, my wife and I stayed for almost 2 weeks paid for the room up front, and since the first day the male owner has locked us out, told my wife that I wasn't allowed to be on the property because I kept coming home so late" I work in the coal mine" bedding has not been changed yet...we washed them ourselves without compensation, and to top it off making a long story short our neighbors including ourselves havent had power for 2 days and he..."owner".... Just kicked us out for no reason pertaining to my wife n I.. DO NOT STAY AT THE travelers inn in Craig Colorado it's a dive
The owner is very respectful and easy to talk to yes there was a problem with the TV service but the Internet is great, some just go through a rough time the rooms are clean. Cheaper than a lot accepted pets
One of worst motel ever stayed in only channels can watch on cable is news, no coffee, no breakfast, only drop towels off n don't take old ones, didn't change pillows cases when I asked, pitfall place to stay don't pay if not willing to go through troubles.
Downside: When I called to make a reservation was told $50/night, on arrival turned out cost was $65/night (no explanation given). Owner (or manager?) is really nice guy but accent is so heavy had hard time understanding, and emphasizing I only wanted 2 nights, not 3. Figuring out how to use the Roku vs local cable was a challenge. No courtesy coffee maker in room. One small micro bar of soap, no courtesy shampoo. Upside: Cost was far less then the usual chain hotels in area. Was able to get me a ground floor with king bed, could park truck just outside door for security. Bed was very comfortable, room was very quiet. Directly across highway from hotel is Vallartas restaurant, where the food quality and quantity are excellent (house maragaritas are great). Good microwave and refrigerator in room.
Very nice place to stay if your wanting to travel cheaper, very nice staff, clean rooms with a lot of space. And the best thing was the pool table down stairs along with the little kitchen. We cooked in the kitchen which was very nice but I have to say it wasn’t the cleanest and we really just used the burners and oven in there than our camping gear along with it. Never the less, I would recommend and it was a great place to stay.
I came to this motel after leaving the Super 8 Motel which was disgusting. This motel is older but my room was clean and everything worked well. And just a small pet fee. Shower was awesome. Towels are a little small. Beds very comfortable, cold air conditioning. Nice owners and there is a cool cat. I will stay here again when I am in the Craig area.
Ask for a second floor room. My upstairs neighbor was up moving all night long. I got maybe two hours of quiet at the most. The floors are very noisy. Friendly service on check-in (loved the car). Room is meh. Bed is NOT comfy. Pillow choices were great.
