The worst Korean bbq I’ve been and I’m Korean.
The place is dirty and oily everywhere. The quality of meat is 1-5 with some heavy smells. No shortribs, which were fine, bulgogi is dry and not how it supposed to be. The service is ok, was very nice but no salads as you would expect from nice Korean bbq place. Only kimchi and green salad.
We were so hungry that we closed our eyes on a lot of things but when we cooked the meat it was uneatable and disgusting. I asked for the check after 5 minutes without starting the drama, when the waiter asked if everything was ok, I said not really. The meat smell bad. I didn’t mentioned any other things and he said oh, sorry, swiped the card and handed the receipt. I have no idea who comes back here and who puts 4-5 starts (the reason we came here)
cuz there are so many good places in the similar price range. We just happened to stop by at the bad one.
I will recommend Wangdoyaji Korean BBQ if you are looking for an affordable K-BBQ place. Although it’s not as fancy as the other K-BBQ that offers a free frozen yogurt cup after your meal, this place certainly gives you a bang for your buck.
Definitely try out their Marinated Beef as it is one or their best meats, only for $2 more. Their salad is decent and you can ask for more if you’d like. Jose, the guy who was attending us, was very nice and very helpful. He was on top of everything and gave a really excellent customer service.
The only downside of this place is its parking - it’s really hard to find parking as there are other establishments in this area.
Pro tip: Grill and caramelize your onions and jalapeños, then cook your Beef Brisket - it will give it a richer flavor
Haven't been here for many years and it's changed quite a bit. Overall it was good but not as much service like before, then I visited again and the customer service was amazing. Turning over tables is priority but this time it was obvious that they were focused on making sure your needs were met. If you're looking for an all you can eat at a reasonable price, this is the place.
I really don't know what is ever one crying about. For the price ever thing was amazing and yummy make sure u get the spicy pork and bulgbul . The only thing to be careful is the stove is super hot and the metal plates and cups get so hot we burned our finger not a big deal.
This place is amazing, I was skeptical at first since I always go in person but I ordered it for once and they honestly made it delicious I asked for a specific way for my brisket to be cooked and they did everything correctly. It came so warm when it got here felt fresh I ordered from DoorDash.
I've come here more than 5x since I discovered it. It's always packed, super busy, the service is excellent and it's very inexpensive. 1st one to walk in today 10/17/23... and its the best service I've had by far!. Open till 2 AM for those still up for a midnight meal!!!
I'll give this place two stars because the staff was friendly in the beginning which was about the only time we saw them. We never received napkins. They don't offer any sides. The salad was made of old wilted lettuce, the edges of the grill were caked with grease from years past, and the meat selection was only about 5 items one of which the waiter informed us was out (bulgogi/marinated beef) which if you like kbbq, you know this is one of the main courses. It's almost as bad as going to a burger place that ran out of ground beef. Definitely wont be coming back not sure how it has so many stars most likely from friends.
30 bucks for all you can eat. They where good but didn't have many options as far as BBQ goes.
