Best WLM Reviews

I enjoy this restaurant for its affordable, organically prepared meals that are both delicious and healthy. Operating without waitstaff, tipping is not expected, although leaving a gratuity for their fantastic food is always appreciated. Today, I ordered the Kimchi Mandu Soup (김치만두국), while my daughter opted for the Vegetable Mandu Soup (야채만두국). The Mandu soup with its nutritious broth and abundance of vegetables exceeded my expectations. We also ordered the 도토리묵밥 to go. The lunch was satisfying, and we appreciated the down-to-earth atmosphere of the restaurant.
Very authentic! My husband is vegan and it was amazing having a whole menu of plant based options to choose from. They even make their own tofu and it’s delicious! We ended up getting three entrees to share and it was so much food, but we were very happy to take home the leftovers. My only critique is that on the day that we went there was a very strong and unidentifiable odor, we almost didn’t stay to dine in. I’m not sure if this is the way that it always smells, but I’ll update this review if when I go back the smell is resolved.
From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warm and friendly service that made me feel right at home. What's more, the restaurant played so many Christian songs for the background music, creating a joyful and peaceful atmosphere that really added to the dining experience.
I ordered the fresh salad bibimbap, which was served with a self-service hot pepper paste that allowed me to adjust the spiciness to my liking. The bibimbap itself was incredibly fresh and healthy, and I really enjoyed the variety of side dishes that were served, including the delicious bean sprout soup.
Overall, I highly recommend Hajun Nongwon for anyone looking for authentic Korean dishes and exceptional service. The friendly greeting and peaceful atmosphere really set the tone for a great meal, and the bibimbap was a highlight of my dining experience. Don't miss out on this gem!
Super delicious, everything is vegan. The tofu steaks were excellent and came with a side of rice, four pickled veggies, and a small soup. You order at the counter and the food came out quite quickly. They even have metal chopsticks instead of disposable ones which was cool.
Stopped here on my way home from a trip to North Carolina. I had researched it before and went out of my way to stop by. Very glad I did.
I ordered a lot of food because I didnt realize each dish came with extras. I had the tofu steak, dumpling soup and small acorn jelly. It was a FEAST and I loved it. Everything went so well together and it was all so fresh. Especially since the tofu and dumplings are house made.
The food was great and the woman at rhe counter wqs very kind and helpful. I was the only non korean when I walked in but her friendlyness put me at ease.
Delicious vegan food! We tried the tofu steaks, the bibimbap, and the spicy tofu soup. The tofu steak was the best by far!! The texture and flavor is perfect. The bibimbap was also good but not what I was expecting - it was more like a big salad w vegan egg on top. The sauce really made it delicious! The spicy tofu soup didn't taste amazing, but we aren't sure if we got the right order. We also got the red bean bun, which was ok but was weird because it was whole wheat bun.
This place gets super busy around lunch time and the wait can be very long!
You can either order at the counter, or on a kiosk.
Delicious, all vegan, very friendly staff! The tofu steaks had a bunch of delicious spicy paste without sugar and a few banchan. Comes with white rice that looks like it's part barley. Great!
A phenomenal vegan Korean restaurant with homemade tofu and delicious soup & veggie banchan sides. Some of the best vegetarian food I've ever had... the tofu steaks with their onions and sauce is the stuff of dreams haha. They were super sweet and saw how much I loved their soup and even gave me more ????
