Located in the food court at assi plaza supermarket , this restaurant was probably my best food experience in Chicago for our super short stay .
The beef soup sullingtang was what I was craving as it as a bone soup that hit the spot for my stomach. Me and my mom really enjoyed it and decided to order two soups to go on our trip back to Ohio . My dad ordered the goat soup and he loved it too so he ordered one to go and he is super picky . Prices are good and the radish kimchi was out of the world good

It was so good, I was thunderstruck. What a wonderful surprise, instead of getting good food I received great food.
Very good food and polite attention
The place has the best gamjatang, beef cartilage soup and oxtail (and cartilage combo) soup I've had in the Chicagoland area. The soup is deep and flavorful, and I don't think they take shortcuts given they only specialize in slow-cooked stews. Portions are generous for the above. Underrated given it's in a food court.

My first Korean GOAT SOUP — smells like a goat, it must be goat. No different than goat cheese. When you eat it, it's not so goaty anymore. The smell is scarier than the taste. Paired with interesting Weedy Kimchi (another first). I have never seen that brown condiment with pin dot balls.
OXTAIL SOUP is heavy with garlic. Don't let looks deceive you. Good portion of oxtail meat that pairs well with lightly sweet radish kimchee.
TO GO orders are well packaged that it was still warm an hour after. No side dish left behind.
Great meals at this stall at Assi Plaza.
