Went here recently because I’ve always seen it but never realized it was this legit. This place is tucked away in a plaza that doesn’t have much besides bills cafe and a baskin Robbin’s but don’t let appearances fool you. This place has a pretty extensive menu. I went with what I was craving and that didn’t disappoint. Matter of fact I have to togo half my food to finish off later. The wings were really good, have good flavor and texture. The seafood salad is a favorite of mine because it has a lot of variety, wish it had more shrimp though and more chips. I know the chips don’t cost much and would love to have a better chip to salad ratio. The rice plate was good too, filled me up with quality ingredients. Give this place a try, you won’t regret it.
Spoke to Anh, busy place with small (3) staff. Food is hot and fresh. LARGE menu, I bought a lot of food for $120, family of five. First Banh Mi served with potato ????chips ever. Bought Fish ???? Balls, Two orders of Chicken ???? wings, 2 Types of Pho ????, Fried Rice ????, Beef ???? Platter with Rice ????, Pork ???? Belly sandwich ???? , they serve a lot of sides.
I had a hard time finding this place, but when I did, I was greeted with an arched ceiling and colorful, tasteful decor.
I came here because of another review telling me “the banh mi itself is a FOOT LONG.” They didn’t lie! The veggie banh mi was huge had plenty of vegetables. I was surprised that the bread was fresh and soft during my evening visit. I loved the crunch of the fried tofu, too! Fellow soyboys and goji girls, go get yourself a veggie tofu Banh Mi. For meat eaters, the wings are a beloved house special (also pictured).
Very clean, warm atmosphere. Food is very good. We had some pho, and the onion beef with shrimp. Also had a honeydew smoothie, it was good but just a little sweet for my taste. The service was top notch, very engaging and friendly!
We haven't eaten here since it was called Sonny's Cafe, it was a sad day when they closed for good.
But I'm glad the doors reopened with new owners and an extensive menu.
Whenever I try a new Vietnamese restaurant, I tend to order the Vermicelli bowl with any grilled protein. The portions were large and beef stuffed with onions was grilled perfectly. On my next visit I'll try their Bahn Mi's!
Tried this place for the first time today. Food and service were great! Restaurant was very clean and had a very cozy feel. Loved the decor. I ordered a bbq rice plate and my wife got the hu tieu. We also got 2 orders of spring rolls they were so good! Everything came out quick and was delicious! We'll be sure to be back and bring friends/family!
First time trying this place and what really caught my eyes is the banh xeo. Not all places make it and not well. Safe to say it did not disappoint!! Pho not pictured but the broth was flavorful. I also didn't leave this place smelling like pho, which I appreciated. The workers, probably owners were all so friendly and attentive. Will be back to try the other food! Been eyeing the birds nest kind of dish. Yums!
Food was great, we were looking for a closer pho place. This place has ambience, great seating inside and outdoors. Great food, music and has vegetarian options. My favorite is the Dac Biet Pho with Shrimp on Sugarcane. My partner got the Vegetarian pho. We'll be coming again!
