Got there 20 minutes ahead of reservation. The lady behind the counter did not greet us or look up to say hello - instead yelled at a waitress with her face down to help us. Table wasn't ready but that's fine since we got there early. I had two toddlers with me but the waitress got us a table and left without offering any high chairs. Had to go find them myself. Waited at least 15 minutes but no one came to our table. Not coming back.
Have you ever have Korean style Japanese sashimi/sushi meal ? If the answer is no, you HAVE TO Come to A-Won for a try!
We, party of 3, picked a medium combo (sashimi and sushi) and our mouths never stopped eating!

Everything tastes so fresh and it's so fun to try a lot of different variety of food!

$23 after tax and they are going to include izumidai. Come on……. Nats flying around the food so constantly fighting them off. Food was pretty good but wanted to finish my food quick and leave. The side dishes were okay. Nothing mind blowing.
Sushi was great! All of the appetizers I was served were delicious also. It's very affordable. I ordered the sushi lunch special for $29. Service was fast!
This place is a traditional Korean-style sushi and sashimi restaurant.
I ordered the mix of sashimi rice called hoedeopbab. It was huge but most of them are lettuce.
The price is around $20. Comparing to other sushi restaurant in Orange County, the price is up and quality is low.
Delicious, high quality. The menu mentions that the $217 course is first up to 4 people. I suggest 5 people, up to 6.

Jonathan Gold is still right. This place is on one of his best in Koreatown restaurants. I had the Hwe dup bap. On menu it is listed as mixed raw fish over greens with rice. Fantastic. So fresh and vibrant. The fish was large chopped, with tuna, salmon, halibut and rowe on seasoned mixed greens with nori, microgreens, bonito, diakon. It was served with miso, rice, and banchan - kimchi, pickled daikon, seasoned seaweed. It was a huge portion of food. I took half home ????. Total was $21 for lunch. Highly recommend!
